Privacy Policy

Tapertrophy does not collect your data. There is no account to create, no server to send anything to, and no analytics or tracking of any kind. Everything you log stays on your device.

What we collect

Nothing.

Tapertrophy has no user accounts, no login, and no backend service. We operate no servers that receive information from the app. We cannot see your training log, your check-ins, or anything else you enter, because it is never transmitted to us.

What the app stores, and where

Everything you enter — sleep, sessions, check-in ratings, food tags, supplements, reaction-test results, and any notes — is stored locally in the app's private storage on your own phone.

• It is not uploaded anywhere.
• It is not shared with us or with any third party.
• It is included in your device backup if you have iCloud or Google backup enabled. Those backups are governed by Apple's or Google's privacy policies, not ours.
• Deleting the app deletes the data. We cannot recover it for you, because we never had it.

Health data

Tapertrophy does not read from or write to Apple Health or Google Health Connect. It does not request access to those services. The only health-related information in the app is what you type into it yourself, and that stays on your device.

Analytics, advertising and tracking

There are none. No analytics SDK, no crash reporting service, no advertising, no advertising identifier, no third-party trackers, and no cookies in the app.

Purchases

Tapertrophy offers one optional in-app purchase. That transaction is handled entirely by Apple's App Store or Google Play. We never see your payment details, card number, or billing address. The stores tell the app only whether the purchase is owned, which is how your unlock is restored if you reinstall or change devices.

Apple and Google process that transaction under their own privacy policies. We do not receive personal information from them.

Exporting your data

You can export your full log from the app at any time, as CSV or JSON, whether or not you have made a purchase. The export is generated on your device and goes wherever you send it. Nothing passes through us.

Children

Tapertrophy is not directed at children under 13, and since we collect no information at all, we do not knowingly collect information from anyone of any age.

Contacting us

If you email support@tapertrophy.com, we will have your email address and whatever you write to us. We use it to answer you and nothing else. We do not add you to a mailing list and we do not share it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date at the top. If a future version of the app ever collects anything, that will be stated plainly here and in the app before it happens.
